We store our custom company templates in a C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\CompanyX

We have now updated a specific template, and want the older ones removed.

I've created a new MSP with the Office OCT.

In testing, all new installs of Office 2010 correctly install updated template.

On existing machines, where office is already installed, when the MSP is applied, new users who start office applications get the correct templates, but I'm not able to update every existing users C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\CompanyX templates.

How do I remove the older templates in the from C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\CompanyX on existing profiles?

We don't have any options which can be used to remove the older templates under users Templates folder.

Your older templates should have a uniform naming rule, right? I think it might be able to run a script to delete these template files. Try to post in our dedicated script forum, and see if anyone there can share a scripting solution:
